Art story

What have you learnt about art? I learnt how to paint in between the lines of my painting. I learnt how to put in little more detail in my artwork. So next year I will work hard to put heaps detail.

What have you learnt about your own artisticle talents? I learned that I can do better in my art work. And I learned how to make amazing mixing colours by working hard. So next year I will do better in my artwork.

What was the hardest part of the artwork? It was painting green on the trees.And painting in between the middles of my art work.

What do you like about your painting?I liked all of the coulurful coulurs in my painting because it was creavitiv.

Cape ringa

Cape reinga is the most northern point in New Zealand it is a beautiful place to explore.

Cape Reinga is located at the top of Te Ika Maui.From the light house you can see the Tasman sea and pasific ocean clash in a tidal race.

Mitre peak

Mitre Peak is a prominent and well-known peak on the south shore of Milford Sound, named because of its resemblance to the shape of the bishop's mitre or hat, when viewed from the south islands.The peak rises almost sheer above the Sound nearly to a height of 2000metres and the summit is actually five closely grouped individual peaks. 

Wellinton

Wellington is New Zealand’s capital city, lying near the Cook Strait at the centre of the country.Hemmed in by the hills, Wellington city sits on a beautiful harbour.Houses cling to the slopes and there is not many  flat land. Wellington lies on three faults – lines of weakness in the earth’s crust. Many people live near the Wellington Fault line, and there are frequent earthquakes. 

Abel Tasman

Abel Tasman National Park is a New Zealand national park between Golden Bay and Tasman Bay at the north end of the South Islands. It is named after Abel Tasman, who in 1642 became the first European aventure to sight New Zealand and who anchored nearby in Golden Bay. The park is the smallest national parks of New Zealand. 

It consists of forested, hilly country to the north of the valleys of the Takaka and Riwaka Rivers, and is bounded from the north by the waters of Golden Bay and Tasman Bay. 

Manaiakalani Film Festival

Manaiakalani Is making learning better for our kids and family.Manaiakalani is a Flim Festival filled of movies that people have made. We went on a bus to Sylvia park the whole school went to the theatre to watch all the AMAZING movies we Pt England School made.




My favourite movie was Me TV because it just makes me want to dance and sing.
All the movies where incredible but thought the best movie was Me TV. So you can see my best movie is Me TV.



I'm looking forward for hepps of lots of hard work and new learning.
Just can't wait for  amazing movies next year.
I love Manaiakalani because all the amazing work and hard dedication.

We have been learning to be creative, use our key competencies, work hard to overcome challenges and help others to be able to share our best. We have written a story and made a MTV to demonstrate this learning. This is a reflection all about my cool learning. I am Amazing!

My favourite movie was Javan's and Justus'

The reason why that movie was so good was because it had lots of details and animation and the ending.

The best part of my movie was Nasibah lip sincing.

The best thing about my group was that we worked together in partners.

My movie could have been better if I put animations.

e upon a time there was a crazy man called lance he loved to dance. he will dance all day and night for anyone. 

One day the king ordered him to dance at the ball.

He was really scared he might miss this up for king.

So he tried and tried he never gave up.

When it was the day he got ready and walked all the to the kingdom.

Soon he was there he got preciren and dance he never stoped dancing every again.

Sicenece in a van

 Yesteday class 12 went to science in a van. We met some sicentist there name where Alan and Emily. We even met a stunt chicken, he gets all the chicks.

Steve the chicken always takes a risk he will always do a stunt every day. Alan always get jealous from Steve because he's famous. Pumping the pump, I gave the rocket some potential energy in the form of air pressure, to blast Steve into the air before he fell to the ground.

Science in a Van

Yesterday class 12 went to science in a van.

Amelie pulled the sheet and the cup stayed still, I didn't except that.

Blasting through the air Steve died. Alan had to give to him CPR.

         When Bethan let the balloon go, the air came in a different  directions and the ballon went up.

Angry birds.

Angry birds is a game that teaches us gravity, action and reaction, potential energy kinetic energy, momentum.Angry birds teaches us about Newton"s third law.One of the rules are" nothing moves untill there is outside fouse.When we release the rubberband potential energy is stored in the rubberband then when we and turns into kinetic energy.Angry birds is a good game because it teaches us about potential energy kinetic energy and gravity"momentum.

Purpose:We release the sling shot and then the energy went to the rocket then it turned to kinetic energy then it made drag gravity made it go down then made trajectory.

Materials:We us a sling shot and a rocket and rubberband.

Method:We pulled the rocket back then realease it then it went flying high up in the sky.

Observations: it went flying high up in the sky.

Conclusion:from this experement we learned lots of words like kinetic energy

Anna the robot

Robot Anna lived by herself in Mangere in her own house. She was very rich and had lots of money. Anna didn’t share her money with anyone.

Anna was a chef, she made pizza for everyone. This made her very happy so she decided to share her money too.

Fia fia story

Raceing to school with my friend for Fia fia we laugh all the way to school together. because we saw this clown that was ridding a little bike. I got to ride it people was laughing at me to I was laughing at my self.soon we was there and it was 6 a clock we raced to our changing rooms.My friend is in Jump jam.My best dance I saw was Hip hop it has minon in it.

Tiny dragon

As she walked along the street, the tiny dragon in her pocket growled. 

While standing in the bus station, she took the friest look.It freaked her out she picked it up and slowly put it in her pocket.

I am late for diner I sould hurry up she thought. Suddenly a bunch of kids ran up to her when there was playing rugby.

Luckily the dragon did not fall out of her pocket.She was mad she scream at those kids

because her dragon nearly fall out.

Soon she was there so she ran up the stairs and she put it on the bed.

Mum called her name and she went down the stars for diner.

Soon diner was finhes and she went up stairs to have a nap.

She gave it a sheet to sleep on.wait I forgot something a bath from running around

bath time was done.then she gave her food it was ice cream for the dragon. now it's time for bed.good night.

Swimming Lessons

We have been learning all about independent and dependent clauses in complex sentences.
This complex sentence that I have written uses a dependent and independent clause. A dependent clause, needs extra detail so that it can complete the sentence, whereas an independent sentence could actually make a sentence on its own.
Here is my sentence:
I have highlighted the dependent clause yellow and the independent clause red.
Splashing and diveing, with my board people were laughing at me.

Cyclone lusi

Howling wind blew all over New Zealand on Saturday. Loud and whistling winds with surging waves slam into the beach and made a loud sound. Cyclone lusis grey skies goes gusting 120km/h and smashing through trees and shelters.
